Notable awards

[edit]

Hi there, re: these edits, we're not here to list every single minor award a subject received in their life. We only care about mainstream awards that are notable, and the community typically considers awards to be notable when there are well-established articles already written about them at Wikipedia, where notability has been properly established. The vague "Transmedia Awards", or "Gujrati Iconic Film Awards" or "Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan Awards" do not meet these criteria. You might find this hard to believe, but there are hundreds of thousands of awards out there that just exist to make a few bucks feeding the egos of actors desperate for promotion! This is why we only care about known, mainstream entities. See WP:FILMCRITICLIST as an example of the community articulating this preference. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:35, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

April 2020

[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Shrenu Parikh. Diffs: [3][4] Since the last time you were blocked for submitting unsourced content, you have submitted more unsourced biographical content that may potentially violate the subject's privacy. If you submit any more unsourced content like this, your editing privileges will be pulled. The strength of this encyclopedia lies entirely with its sources. Your unsourced edits are not helpful. June 2020

Hello, I'm Berrely. I noticed that in this edit to Bhavana (actress), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 08:46, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sloppy edits

[edit]

Re: these, while some of what you did was constructive, you left a mess of references jumbled and out of place. If you look in this version of the page in the Media and Special appearances sections, maybe you'll see the issues. Also you added the claim "She was ranked in Times of India's 50 Most desirable Women in India 2017 and 2018." You not only did not include a reference for this, but you placed it before an existing reference, which is of no help to anyone who checks references. Please exercise care moving forward. Thank you. An article you recently created, Ghar Ek Mandir – Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
