Single source

[edit]

Hi and thanks for your expansion of Jeanne Reynal! I wanted to ask if you could use more than the single source you are currently using? Creating a large bio section from one source (used fourteen times) has problems. It's best to have two or three sources. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 16:44, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I just happened to be reading a book full of interviews with female artists today, and I noticed that Jeanne Reynal's page was fairly short, so I thought I would expand where I could using this source. I would hope that other editors with more of a vested interest in this particular subject would continue to expand the article using other resources. I definitely understand that it is better to have more sources when possible. Best, Cschev (talk) 17:46, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
thanks. it's definitely not optimal to have an entire section sourced by a single source, as it ends up just being referenced paraphrase of a book. Thanks for your contribs.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 04:04, 2 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
