March 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. One or more of the external links you added in this edit to the page John Keble do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. You may wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. decltype (talk) 16:55, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in this edit to Francis Scott Key. Inappropriate links include links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that serve as advertising or promotion. Thank you. EdBever (talk) 18:51, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Cyberhymnist, You have edited many pages today, you are changing the order of external links and sometimes the description. Could you explain why you are making these edits? EdBever (talk) 18:56, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. MER-C 09:22, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Trademark symbols[edit]

Hi, thanks for the updates to Fanny Crosby. I've removed the ™ symbols per WP:MOSTM, these are generally regarded as clutter. Cheers, CliffC (talk) 17:58, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding trade mark signs to article links. Your recent edit to the NoteWorthy Composer article was reverted: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=NoteWorthy_Composer&diff=prev&oldid=381688737 --dbolton (talk) 22:29, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Your wholesale additions of the trademark symbol after you were warned has caused a great deal of trouble for other editors to revert them. Please stop or you may be blocked. --CliffC (talk) 00:40, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicts of interest[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. --CliffC (talk) 01:08, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

September 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a few moments to create a new account with a username that represents only you. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may ask for a review of this username block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}. Thank you.
