A tag has been placed on LA-944 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - There are millions of organizations on this planet; most of them are not notable enough to have their own articles in Wikipedia. LA-944 is just such an organization. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:49, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
JROTC Wiki
[edit]I am the Public Affairs OIC of AFJROTC NV-20012 and the administrator of jrotc.wikia.com. I have created this wiki on wikia.com completely devoted to JROTC, just like Wikipedia it's an on-line encyclopedia all about JROTC. Now encyclopedic articles of information about individual units, high ranking cadets, and instructors can be placed on the net without being deleted on this wikipedia like site. It's free; all information on JROTC wiki are under the GNU Free Documentation License. However I need help, If you can in way contribute to this site, that would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, comments, are unclear about something, or need help getting started please feel free to Email me. I will respond quickly.
You may have have already been there but please do take a minute to take a look and fix JROTC wiki. Nv-20012 (talk) 02:30, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of "Lacombe High School"
[edit]A page you created, Lacombe High School, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content, but does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.
