A belated welcome!

[edit]
Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Da.francesca. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Katarighe (talk) 15:58, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Lechler manifacturing units.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Fut.Perf. 12:41, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This file should not be speedy deleted as bearing an improper license, because I've the permission of the copyright owner Dr. Agop Manoukian (permission cc-by-nc-nd-3.0). I've the ticket OTRS (2011102010012061) from the Wikipedia IT. If you want, I might send you the permission emails by Agop Manoukian and permissions-it@wikimedia.org Many thanks --Da.francesca (talk) 12:28, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know which file you're talking about, but it doesn't really matter: Creative Commons licenses with the "noncommercial" or "no derivatives" restrictions aren't acceptable on Wikipedia, and OTRS should have told you this. --Carnildo (talk) 02:41, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Carnildo. Many thanks. --Da.francesca (talk) 14:53, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Lechler brand 1858.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused logo with no article used, it's also can't move to commons because of an unused logo will be deleted as of out of project scope.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
