Wildlife of Burkina Faso[edit]

Hi DarthGator, thanks for your message. I'm not sure that a change to the name of Wildlife of Burkina Faso would be a very good idea because it matches all the other articles in the Template:WildlifeofAfrica series, and articles related to other countries. (see Category:Wildlife by country). Wildlife includes flora, and at the moment, I don't see that there is enough information about flora in the article to warrant a split. However, other editors may disagree, so i would suggest you bring it up at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Africa to let others comment, and perhaps contact User:Blofeld of SPECTRE who has done a lot of work on these kinds of articles. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. --BelovedFreak 13:50, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Talk on open data?[edit]

Hi there, I'm taking part in a mission on open data led by the Burkinabè government. I'd love to touch base with you to discuss on the topic. Any chance you have time for a coffee before Saturday? Thanks Nicolaskb (talk) 14:21, 22 May 2013 (UTC)

User:Dr. Blofeld has created Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/Contests. The idea is to run a series of contests/editathons focusing on each region of Africa. He has spoken to Wikimedia about it and $1000-1500 is possible for prize money. As someone who has previously expressed interest in African topics, would you be interested in contributing to one or assisting draw up core article/missing article lists? He says he's thinking of North Africa for an inaugural one in October. If interested please sign up in the participants section of the Contest page, thanks.♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:15, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
