Information icon Hello, I'm ThaddeusSholto. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Patricia Hodgson seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ThaddeusSholto (talk) 17:48, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have taken your advice and only added the totally factual updates since 2021, all certifiable on gov.uk. Datasource1 (talk) 18:24, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Datasource1! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Also, see WP:REFSTART for how to correctly cite your sources. I also don't see where [1] says she was on the AI council. Aaron Liu (talk) 23:02, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Datasource1. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Patricia Hodgson, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ThaddeusSholto (talk) 18:28, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
