pictures

[edit]

Hey I see that you have some pictures from the World Cricket League, would you please upload all of them to Commons:Upload then all the wikipedias in different languages can use the picture. It's a good idea to always upload free pictures to wikimedia commons because you can use that here and any other wikipedia where as if you upload it here, it can't be use in any other wikipedia.--THUGCHILDz 20:27, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I read the FAQ for wikimedia commons at the weekand, so now I will get all of my photos into suitable formats etc and then I will upload them. Thanks for the advice! Dave of Darwin 01:54, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Associate/affiliate rankings

[edit]

Hi Dave. I observed that you are the major contributor to WCL and EAP Trophy articles over the past few days. You are doing a great job. I too do some minor contributions once in a while. I have something to ask about the associate/affiliate rankings in the World Cricket League article. I remember the rankings were last updated immediately after WCL Div 3. Any particular reason for not doing the same now after Div 2 is concluded? The only change I see is Oman moving up to 18. Adarsh.darapaneni 13:40, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Adarsh. That's a good point you make about the rankings. I will see if I can find anything official from ICC, or maybe Andrew Nixon will know more. Cheers, Dave of Darwin (talk) 23:17, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
