Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Pedo.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you uploaded the same image twice: as Image:Pedo.jpg and also as Image:Dp .jpg. The latter copy of the file has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 12:17, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding edits to Ken Anderson (wrestler)

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Davhth4! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule bebo\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 09:58, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and will be removed. Thanks. Shadowbot 10:02, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding bebo.com. Your addition is not encyclopedic, and bebo.com does not comply with our external link guidelines. Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 10:06, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

High Ground (band)

[edit]

As the author you are not to delete the speedy delete tag. If you wish to contest it, please follow the instructions therein. Deleting the tag may be considered vandalism MrMarmite 15:32, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on High Ground (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. MrMarmite 15:34, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
