Hi, I'm Dentilliation! I live in the United States. I have a bachelor's degree in biology. I've done a few seasons of field and lab work, mostly around plant community ecology, habitat restoration, and nutrient cycling. These days (i.e., as of 2023), I'm most interested in wild animal welfare science, especially animal community ecology, modeling ecosystem services for nonhuman animals, and welfare-driven wildlife management.

I'm starting up this Wikipedia account in the hopes of bringing more self-guided science learning into my life. I find the stage fright of publicly posting things is a super useful way to motivate myself to go back to the source material, learn more about what I thought I already knew, then capture that knowledge in a precise and memorable way.

I have huge respect for Wikipedia's editors and the culture and systems they've built. If you have any feedback for how I can do things better, I'd be excited to hear it!

Welcome to The Wikipedia Adventure!
