A tag has been placed on Derrick crayton requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.  fetchcomms 00:51, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Derrick.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Tim Song (talk) 08:34, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the article you created about yourself

[edit]

Please stop creating the article about yourself. Unfortunately, you are currently not notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not the appropriate place to try to launch your music career. Perhaps in the future when you release your first album, it will be a hit and then you may be notable enough for Wikipedia. But until that time please stop recreating the article. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 08:45, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion Nomination

[edit]

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Derrick"Dee Rick"Crayton requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Ginsengbomb (talk) 01:32, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop re-creating the same page about yourself, per the comments from the Admin above. Ginsengbomb (talk) 01:33, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)Indeed. Your repeated page moves generate a lot of clean up work for others and are disruptive. Please note that persistent attempts to introduce inappropriate pages may result in your editing privileges being revoked. Tim Song (talk) 01:36, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Mezcladian, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. — ækTalk 03:22, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your userpage

Userpages do not go into categories belonging to articles. Do not do it again. Tim Song (talk) 04:13, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your re-addition of category labels to your user page. Please do not repeat adding them, or you could be banned from editing. — ækTalk 03:19, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your upload of File:Arawakian.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
