Welcome!

Hello, Devanandnlr, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!--Mishae (talk) 04:01, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! 220 of Borg 13:40, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Thaikadapuram, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 19:41, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Nileshwaram, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 20:08, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Nileshwaram. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Hello Devanandnlr–

There are policies in place which require that all material content changes/additions to an article be attributed to sources which may be independently verified by other editors. Relevant polices include Wikipedia:No original research and Wikipedia:Verifiability. If you are unsure if a source you are using qualifies, you may wish to review Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources or ask a question at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. There are a multitude of avenues you can navigate for help and support, so please do not hesitate to ask. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 20:59, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Greetings. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Cherupuzha (Kannur), did not appear to be constructive and has been or will be reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.
