April 2024[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at List of awards and nominations received by Sarah Geronimo. Itssheenabautista (talk) 12:35, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

April 2024[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Dennis Brown - 13:17, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Constantly reverting to put in trivial awards, after you have been told by a few that this unnecessary, is the problem. If you get reverted ONCE, try going to the talk page and discussing it. If you get back after this one week block, and continue to edit war, you will likely be blocked for an indefinite period, so I strongly recommend you change your tactics to something that is acceptable here. See WP:BRD. Dennis Brown - 13:20, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am updating the page actually. The awards are not dubious since they are even from respective international organization. Say for example the "Daf Bama Music Awards" is from Daf Entertainment in Germany. Also, the WPVR Pinnacle Awards is from Platinum Vibes radio in USA. They aren't just self-made awards. Other similar pages even put unreliable lislets or accolade from listing accounts, but why these reliable awards that I am just trying to include in Sarah Geronimo page cannot be permitted to be included? These Sarah G awards were even featured on TV and other news websites. It is just that they do not want to include those awards in Sarah Geronimo's page because they belong to another fandom. Please do not let this members of other fandoms change facts. I do believe that the Wikipedia administrators are fair and wise. Thanks.

Decline reason:

Your block has expired, so you're able to edit again. Nyttend (talk) 10:28, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You seem to be missing the point. I didn't block you because you were "wrong", I blocked you because the way you were going about getting your changes into the article was disruptive. And as a rule, "Awards" that themselves do not have a Wikipedia article, are generally removed by most editors, with some exception. I have no idea if the awards should be included or not, but I do know that you were reverting multiple people instead of going to the talk page and discussing it (see WP:Communication is required). If you want to revert more than once, you absolutely must start a discussion first. If you don't and revert a few times, then you get what we have here. Again, this is NOT the place to talk about how "right" you are. This is the place to reassure admins that you won't continue to revert anymore, and will use the talk page of the article instead.
