Educational accreditation[edit]

I'm puzzled by your placement of a "citation needed" tag at Educational accreditation. All of the agencies listed in that paragraph are listed at (the page cited in that paragraph) -- look under "Institutional accrediting agencies" and scroll down the list. --Orlady 12:37, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Truck - Environmental section[edit]

You may well not even know this exists, but look at {{cite web}} and {{cite book}}, which will give your references more authority. They work really well for citations. No tome tonight to read what you've done, I fear, but I will get there. Fiddle Faddle 22:16, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Tanstaafl.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Tanstaafl.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 22:34, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

They get pretty picky about this copyright stuff. To me it looked clear that you made this yourself and posted it here donating the copyright to the entire free (and unfree)world. You might add words to that effect on the image page.
I've got a more important question - is this the "flag" or the "coat-of-arms"? Talk about picky! Smallbones 02:31, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Stub tags[edit]

Please don't waste other people's time by adding {{stub}} to an article like Le Vaudreuil which already has a specific stub tag. Please also note that stub tags go at the end of the article, not the top (see WP:ORDER): if you go to the right place to put it you are more likely to spot that it already has a specific subject tag. Thanks. PamD 07:26, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Asterite[edit]

Hello Dickpenn. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Asterite".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 21:29, 13 June 2014 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
