Help me!

[edit]

I want to create my template of brackets, but I don't know how to start. I have seen templates but I don't know how to start or create them.

What sort of template do you want to create? Chances are really good that one already exists that you want to do. Wikipedia:Template index is an index that should hopefully get you started on finding what you want. WT:WPT is also a good place to ask for assistance with (or finding) templates. If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 20:39, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What I want to do is create a single-elimination template.
It's difficult to explain, since there are phases in which teams re-enter, and others skip phases. DiegoRAM007 (talk) 21:39, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We have a ton of templates in Category:Tournament bracket templates, might be something there that will work (or at the very least, give a jumping-off point). Keep in mind when looking at these templates is that they can occasionally be used in ways other than how the /doc says. Primefac (talk) 09:38, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've seen them, but I would like to create one from scratch, but I don't know exactly how to start. DiegoRAM007 (talk) 15:45, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Copy one that's close to what you want into your sandbox and play around? Primefac (talk) 16:25, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The one I plan to create is different, for example, a team that loses moves to another bracket that is much lower. DiegoRAM007 (talk) 18:27, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That somewhat sounds like a double-elimination bracket. Primefac (talk) 18:42, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, is not that. I have an image but it won't let me send it. DiegoRAM007 (talk) 19:04, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
