Bayajidda[edit]

Hi Dierk. I'd like to thank you for transcribing a full version of the Bayajidda (or Abuyazidu) tale and putting it online here - it was a great help to me when writing the article about Bayajidda. In fact, a tidbit from the article was recently included on Template:did you know, and, because of this, transcluded onto the main page! Again, thanks for providing the resource - without it, the article might just be a short little stub. Picaroon 19:32, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

HMS Victory[edit]

Hi, thanks for your message. I'm nto sure the link provided satisfies the criteria in WP:EL and feel that the article could do with additional editing rather than just another link. I would encourage you not to re-add the link. raseaCtalk to me 21:37, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification (for Dierk Lange)[edit]

Hi, this message is to let you know about disambiguation links you've recently created. A link to a disambiguation page is almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
