You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jacob Elbaz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Defending an article

[edit]

Thank you for commenting in Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Jacob Elbaz. But I encourage you to post the comment (and any further comments) within Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jacob Elbaz. If you do this, you needn't (indeed, you shouldn't) delete the comment from Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Jacob Elbaz. (Yes, I realize that Wikipedia can be confusing.) -- Hoary (talk) 09:04, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • The thing to do it to locate articles about Elbaz in newspapers and magazines, (Hebrew, English, Chinese - any language). And/or ling evidence of gallery and museum shows. Can include links to gallery and museum web pages, but far more persuasive to have news coverage of shows at galleries and museums.E.M.Gregory (talk) 20:30, 26 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Are there alternative spellings of his name in the Latin alphabet?E.M.Gregory (talk) 20:31, 26 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks, I'll see what else I can find on the gallery itself and what has been said about it. From what I can gather this is the main spelling that is used, though since his name is being written phonetically from the Hebrew he could be 'Yaacov' instead of 'Jacob', but that's much less common. I don't know of any alternatives for his surname I'm afraid. Dionysus the alcoholic (talk) 18:03, 27 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
