Icon

[edit]

Hi! The icon you mention is for embedding a file in an article - but by "file" it is pretty much limited to images and sounds. You won't be able to embed a text file, but you will need to copy and paste the text instead. There are some programs around which do convert some text files into Wikiformat, but in practice I find it easier just to paste it here and do a bit of cleanup, as generally I don't write too many new articles anyway so I need to build on what is already there. - Bilby (talk) 12:33, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
