License tagging for Image:Topgroup.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Topgroup.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:09, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

wtf[edit]

Does anyone know why my page, "Escapeman Adventures" was deleted? There was absolutely no cause to remove it. -- Doompuppet 06:39, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article was about a webcomic that had no assertion of notability according to our guidelines for web content articles. An assertion of notability would be something like a detailed review in at least two major magazines or newspapers (gory details in the given link).
As you've requested for the text of your article somewhere, I'll restore it to this page: User:Doompuppet/Escapeman Adventures. Please do not move or copy the text back into an article - it will just be deleted again. Awyong Jeffrey Mordecai Salleh 07:51, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. If you want to appeal my decision and ask for consensus to allow this page back where it used to be (the articles area, formally known as the "main namespace") - please make a request at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Awyong Jeffrey Mordecai Salleh 07:55, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. What I'll do is correct the article in my userspace (not now, but some day soon), then ask you to take a look when you have a spare moment and endorse or deny it being replaced. Does that sound right? -- Doompuppet 17:21, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that sounds like the right thing. Also, it'd be nice to edit the page which you copied from, and add {{sources}} to the page. Or just tell me where you copied from. Awyong Jeffrey Mordecai Salleh 02:55, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
