Hello, Dr. Zombieman. You have new messages at Banaticus's talk page.

Your contributed article, List of trip hop artists[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, List of trip hop artists. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Trip hop. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Trip hop - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 08:24, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just an observation[edit]

It almost looks to me that you are more intent on putting down the editor with whom you're having difficulties (re: The Fame Monster) than on helping the editor to understand what the difficulty is, why you have objections, and guiding the editor a little bit. The person is obviously not trying to vandalize the article. I've just been noticing the back and forth and it's an observation. FWIW. Wikipelli Talk 17:16, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I've closed the discussion so can just calm down. Dr. Zombieman brains.../the infected 17:19, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Kanyutkwin[edit]

Hello Dr. Zombieman. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Kanyutkwin, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There is sufficient context to identify the subject of the article. Inhabited places identifiable on a map are usually considered notable, and Geonames shows that there is such a place (in fact, two, but that's another matter). JohnCD (talk) 10:36, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. Somebody just needs to expand the article. Dokter Zombieman brains.../the infected 10:38, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome paragraphs[edit]

Thanks for patrolling new pages - the New Page Patrol needs all the eys it can get. When you come on a new user who has not yet had any messages, it's useful to give them a Welcome paragraph before the notification that their page is being speedied - it's less WP:BITEy and gives the newbie links which may help them do better. There are several available - if you type "Template:Welcome" in the search box the drop-down list will show you several. Ones I find useful are:

  • {{welcome}} - general-purpose
  • {{welcome-spam}} where their contribution was an advertisement
  • {{firstarticle}} where the first article is being speedied. This one has an oddity - it adds your signature automatically.

All those should be subst-ed. Firstarticle can mention the article: {{subst:firstarticle|<articlename>}}.

Regards, JohnCD (talk) 12:20, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When an article is in foreign, it should be tagged for translation - unless very obviously pure spam... Use the {{translate}} or {{notenglish}} tags, with a | and the name of the language if you recognise it. Then follow the instructions about adding it to the Articles needing Translation page so it can be dealt with. I've taken your speedy off, and replaced it with a tag saying it's in Turkish. (There is a case where {{db-foreign}} can be used - that is if the article is already up on another language Wikipedia. I still prefer to use translate even then, as the article might be of value.) A little tip - if you use the translate tag and then preview, you can get a link to a Google translation. This can be handy. Keep up the good work. Peridon (talk) 11:48, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When Chrome translated it and I scrolled at the bottom it showed itself to be spam. Dokter Zombieman brains.../the infected 11:56, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't like the look of it, but gave it the benefit of the doubt. Not easy with schools, sometimes. If they look spammy, check if there's a copyvio. Doesn't matter what it means then.... Peridon (talk) 15:07, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Meesum zaidi[edit]

Hello Dr. Zombieman. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Meesum zaidi, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Thank you. ϢereSpielChequers 15:11, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've prodded it. Peridon (talk) 21:03, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And I poked it. Dokter Zombieman brains.../the infected 20:57, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Block[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for block evasion. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. TNXMan 03:13, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I'm sorry, but do you see any bad contributions?

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information.  Sandstein  11:46, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Firstly, was CheckUser used in this block? Dokter Zombieman brains.../the infected 15:59, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you are indeed Special Cases (talk · contribs), then it would appear to me that you are an indef-blocked user looking for another chance. We have the standard offer for that. After waiting six months without creating another sockpuppet, request an unblock from one account only, promise to avoid the behaviors which led to the original block, and don't give anyone else a good reason to think you'll cause damage/disruption if allowed back. Cheers, Dylan620 (tc) 16:23, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm indeed not Special Cases. Dokter Zombieman brains.../the infected 16:27, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you are certainly a sockpuppet of some account, and most likely Special Cases. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:19, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
