I am new to editing Wiki[edit]

I am new to editing Wiki content.

This particular page is very inaccurate and not based on the scientific literature. If you could guide me on what would be considered to be adding content here and I will work to do so. I am used to writing scientific content. Dr Accuracy2018 (talk) 11:36, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

August 2018[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Protandim. Grayfell (talk) 22:37, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is particularly unfair, I spent over two hours editing the introduction and adding five new references. It is not promoting anything, it is creating fairnesses and balance to something that is very inaccurate. I ask that you reread what I have written.

That's unfortunate, but please consider the time other people spent writing the introduction the first time. Wikipedia is not a platform for fringe positions, and our standards for medical content are especially strict. The article is about the medicine, according to reliable, independent sources. It is not about the medicine according to primary sources, and it is not about Dr. Joe McCord and the medals he may have won.
Additionally, if you are a distributor with LifeVantage or are otherwise involved, you have a conflict of interest, and should propose any changes to the article's talk page. You will still have to provide reliable, independent sources and any changes will have to be written from a neutral point of view. Grayfell (talk) 22:52, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
