Hi!

Just spotted this in our new pages patrol, and wanted to give you a few pointers on content.

For starters, citing the script, except for excerpts, is generally considered not a good thing - ditto with a summary of the musical here. Doing so makes the article seem promotional, and we are not here for promotions. What you can do is shorten the summary to help that out a bit - but you need to shorten it quite a lot, to be frank.

Second (and, instead of what's there)), what your best bet for the article will be is to hold to an explanation of why the play is notable. Doing a quick Google search, I was able to find a few news articles on this. Being that the musical has only had one run thus far (last month), it may not quite fit those guidelines - but what I need you to do is get something together and show notability. This is EXTREMELY important, as without this, we may seek to delete this article.

Third and finally, I don't know if this bears anything under the circumstances, but I'm vaguely concerned you may have a close connection to this play - which is something that is frowned upon if you're doing significant edits. It doesn't make you a bad editor, necessarily - but what this causes to happen is skewing from neutrality on any given subject. It is generally not possible to be so neutral when you're that close. On the other hand, it is far easier to bring in a neutral, objective point of view when one is not so closely connected to the subject. If I'm wrong, do forgive me - but do also note the necessity for neutrality.

Good luck, and happy editing.

Proposed deletion of Holy Musical B@man!

[edit]

The article Holy Musical B@man! has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

NO reliable third party sources to establish notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
