Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 14:03, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you ScottishFinnishRadish for your response and your promptness in stopping people from wrongfully using Wikipedia for promotions.
This is neither an 'appeal' nor a 'reason giving' response. Just a simple argument from a simpleton who sees thing as they are.
Two simple points. First the hypocrisy that my username (gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site). Who is writing thisto me?, someone called "ScottishFinnishRadish". Seriously. This might be fine in the 'Wiki world' but in my small bubble, this is just ridiculous.
Secondly, am i promoting my business or organization. Yes absolutely and proudly so. I dont think whats wrong with it. I wrote an article with much effort, research, and to the best of my ability with every possible reference. No i am perfectly fine with someone contradicting my article and find faults with it but claiming that it is not worth mentioning on WIKI because I myself with all honesty put it there.
Lastly as i dont see any point in this rant even though i keep going on here. I have a final request for Wiki people to look into your systems where you would have been perfectly fine with me faking as someone else not related to the website and doing the exactly same thing getting exactly same results. But making a genuine contribution is being flagged as self promotion. If you have doubts about the claims i am making, just Google 'the ways on how to links on wiki'. Almost all if not all suggest ways which will by all means violate Wiki Laws. Now your argument will be that we dont allow these 'WAYS'.
Wrong. There are so many absolutely promotion links on all kind of articles on Wiki. And not just promotion links but low quality pages are linked. Anyways i have no hope in whatever i have written here. You guys are too big to look into these but i just thought i should put across my point of view.
