Sorry[edit]

Sorry but I had to get your attention. EdLorJudWarr (talk) 00:30, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There's something we have to discuss. EdLorJudWarr (talk) 00:30, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Are you still trying to fix the horror film and history of horror films articles? EdLorJudWarr (talk) 00:34, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The 2010-present is not an improvement on articles isn't it? EdLorJudWarr (talk) 00:38, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously[edit]

This is troubling behaviour, and you are never going to accomplish the changes you wish to make this way. Your only hope of ever being able to interact with anyone on Wikipedia, with any legitimacy, and perhaps edit again to make these changes you sooo desperately want to make, is to try and rehabilitate your original account. Wait at least six months (though I would suggest a year), and during that time do not do any more socking, what-so-ever. Then after a year from now, apply via WP:UTRS to appeal your ban. This will have to be a carefully worded letter, where you will need to take full responsibility for all your disruptive behavior and list every account you've ever socked with, both registered and IP. Then list every Wikipedia guideline and policy that applies to your actions, and subsequent blocks and bans, showing that you've since learned these rules thoroughly, and that you understand just how you violated them and why adhering to them is important. You will also need to show that you regret your behavior, and express a sincere apology to the community, and especially to all the users you've harrassed, and commit to never repeating such behavior again. You'll have to accept some conditions, in fact it would probably be better to propose them yourself, such as staying to one account only, a permament 0RR accross the board for all articles, a permanent partial-block from the "history films" and "list of history films" pages, a promise to stay off the user talk pages of any editor that does not want you posting on them. In fact, if any appeal were to be entertained, any editors you interacted with while socking, and especially during this "2010s to present vs. 2010s and 2020s" episode, should probably be notified of your appeal by an admin, and should they wish it, you would agree to a one-way IBAN with each and every one that wants it. After all that, you should commit to moving forward by making efforts to improve the project, and set out an outline of just how you would intend to go about that. You're progress with that plan should be monitored, and to that end, you should probably be required to be supervised by a mentor, long-term, with a review of your progress every twelve months.

So, in short, after waiting the six to twelve months, while stopping all socking, a carefully worded appeal with expressions of regret, and demonstable understanding of involved policies and guidelines, and committmemt to several conditions and restrictions, supervision and a net-positive plan to move forward, and, well... the odds of being able to return would still be slim to none, but you don't have any other choice, so why not give it a try? It would certainly be better than to continue with this... disturbing behavior. You should really take a moment to consider how your behavior, between the socking and this obsession with the decade subsections for history films, reflects on you. Seriously, give it some thought. - wolf 06:02, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry you got blocked but pestering other ain't gonna get what you want. Merit the Herbepit (talk) 09:31, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Erm, say what...? - wolf 09:37, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
We know you were trying to help but your actions caused errors. Merit the Herbepit (talk) 09:57, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Merit the Herbepit: you made another mistake here. By saying "we", this implies that you are using a shared account, and you can be blocked for that. But just the same, you are already going to be blocked soon for evasion. If you want to continue with Wikipedia, you really should follow the suggestions I listed above. You should limit yourself to only using the "Jinnifer" account, which I belive is considered the master.

Also it's not clear what mistakes you think I've made above, but it's just advice anyway, not a guaranteed path to return. I do realize that it may be even more difficult as your talk page access is blocked, but you kinda brought that on yourself. That said, perhaps if you found your earliest sock account that still has talk page access, maybe you can try and designate that account as the master. Then you could post an unblock request instead of going through UTRS.

You would have to give up the Jinnifer account, as well as all other accounts, as I suggested, and with that, wait at least 6 to 12 months, with zero socking before posting an unblock request. Take that time to craft a sincere request, with all the elements to it suggested above, and who knows...? Maybe by xmas, you could be back as a legitimate editor. Anyway, it remains to be seen if you can stop socking and harrassing people, (and this bizarre fixation you have with the horror film pages), basically shooting yourself in the foot, all for some kind of joke, that only you find funny.

Anyway, this is where we part ways. I've given you plenty of assisantance and guidance... it's up to you whether or not you follow through. Either way, this will again be my last post, for this page. We'll now see of you make the smart choice, or not, going forward. Good luck - wolf 10:50, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
