Information icon Hello, I'm 64andtim. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Mexican Dynasties seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. 64andtim 💬 📚 02:09, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thank you for your response. Just to clarify Elan is not trying to make it in the music industry. He is in the music industry. EddieBatoa (talk) 01:04, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please post messages at the bottom of talk pages with a heading, not in the middle of another message. I've moved yours. You have an obvious conflict of interest, please don't write about yourself or your clients. You are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all, but as a paid editor, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:EddieBatoa. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=EddieBatoa|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a paid COI can lead to a block, but I've given you a breathing space since I hadn't realised until you said. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message. Also read the following regarding writing an article:

  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • Although you gave a long list of refs, most were not acceptable. They included his own website, unreliable sources like the Daily Mail and interviews with him. What we need is independent reliable third-party sources.
  • I can't see anything that suggests he meets the notability criteria linked above, such as awards or chart placings. Releasing music isn't notable in itself
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • I note that you referred to him throughout by his first name, which is unencyclopaedic, and made unsourced or self sourced claims like over 25 years of musical experience... dedicated more than 10,000 hours to playing, producing, recording, and composing songs..He has had a very versatile musical career and is a natural virtuoso ... includes several unique designs
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Not a reason for deletion, but your referencing is a mess.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:03, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your prompt response. I understand. I will fix the needed disclosures. How do you suggest I proceed? Do I contract a 3rd party organization to write the information? In the text I am conveying certain truths about Elan Allende's career that are overshadowed by Mexican Dynasties at the moment. But thing age changing rather fast. Although he has not won any awards but is known in the latin music industry as a singer-songwriter. He presented an award at "Premios Tu musica Urbano" in Puerto Rico, for example. I appreciate your help. Have a wonderful day. EddieBatoa (talk) 14:15, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
