Shamanism among Eskimo peoples

[edit]

I removed the link to Shamanism among Native Alaskans as the article does not currently exist. I wasn't sure what you meant by "The original page is incorrectly named". Do you mean that Shamanism among Eskimo peoples is incorrect or some other page is wrongly named? If you mean the Shamanism among Eskimo peoples is incorrect you are probably right to a certain extent but what else could be used? Shamanism among Inuit would exclude the Eskimo people of Alaska. The current article talks about Shamanism in Canada as well as Alaska (and should include Greenland) so Shamanism among Native Alaskans is not going to work either. Also Native Alaskans would indicate the Yupik and Inupiaq but also the Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian, Eyak, and other Northern Athabaskan peoples which the article does not currently include. Cheers.
