First article

Hello. Template:US-actor-stub is the wrong place to write an article. See WP:YFA. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 20:05, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. This can be a very confusing place, but you're not doing too bad so far. The article you wrote looks like it was well written. What happens next is that the article needs some reliable sources to show that it follows our policy on living people as well as the inclusion guidelines. The standard for referencing is quite high, and it will take more than IMDB. It is generally not recommended to write an autobiography, but now it's written the notices will be necessary until the article is better referenced, or if appropriate, deleted. If you have extra sources, now would be a good time to find them. A quick read of the links I've provided should help you understand the most relevant guidelines. You can reply here. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 20:48, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So maybe I should just take it down and have my agent submit it and change it a bit. Do you think that would be better? So what source does wiki need for film credits? im not sure where else to get them besides IMDB? IMDB is tough too...everything is verified with steel jaws.. My agents have magazine articles to reference so that should help yes? It is not good for people googling me to stumble upon that page with all those flags so maybe its better if i just remove it? can you send me a link on how to do that as well? Thank you so so so very much - (Edenmarie13 (talk) 20:54, 6 November 2009 (UTC))[reply]

The most useful thing to remove the flags, for an article to survive and prosper, is referencing from reliable sources, and this would normally include things like articles about you, critical reviews, significant mentions, or awards won (see WP:N). I'm not really in a position to say how quickly those could be found, but articles don't tend to stick around too long without them. I would be happy to delete the article at your request, until better referencing is available. You can just ask here. -- zzuuzz (talk) 21:09, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes please delete it..thanks zzuuzz.

I have nominated Eden Marie James, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eden Marie James. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Ironholds (talk) 22:19, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Ironholds..if you would of taken the 2 minutes to read the prior discussion i was having with the other wiki administrator you would see that I have already initiated and asked about having this deleted myself. I am not trying to be in noncompliance with wiki's rules.. in fact its just the opposite. Take a minute next time. (Edenmarie13 (talk) 22:59, 6 November 2009 (UTC))[reply]
