Welcome!

Hello, Eedopf, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! I urge you to peruse WP:DAB and MOS:DAB regarding what should and shouldn't be added to a dab page. You are adding a mix of an external link, multiple wikilinks, and none of it belongs on dab pages. --Muhandes (talk) 19:36, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page MacAmp do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please peruse WP:EL on how and where to introduce external links Muhandes (talk) 19:37, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on AMP. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Muhandes (talk) 19:40, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Continue this and you will be blocked. --Muhandes (talk) 19:44, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to AMP. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Please stop spamming links to PlayMedia Systems Muhandes (talk) 19:46, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
