File:2015 Toyota Vios 1.5 G Automatic (NCP 150).jpg problem

How can I fix this problem I'm experiencing now with the image I uploaded? I just wanted to replace an image, specifically the File:ViosNCP150G13Brown.JPG, with the one from the Philippines, because the former was from Indonesia. If I violated something, as I have experienced in many previous contributions in this website that I don't know why, feel free to delete the disputed image. I already replaced back the original image in the article Toyota Vios I'm just a beginner and in need of help whenever I can. Bad Rock Canyon photo

I received express written email permission to use that photo. Where do I need to send the email to get this resolved? Your assertion of "blatant copyright infringement" is not correct.--EditorExtraordinaire (talk) 23:40, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

You have my permission to use it. As for a Wikipedia entry on the Hungry Horse News, you don't have my permission to do that.

I offered to write an article for his employer, the Hungry Horse News, to which he added in his reply: "You don't have my permission to do that". I sent the permission email I received to use the photo to: permissions-en@wikimedia.org and have received this ticket number: [Ticket#2015060410005949]. I have done this before on other images. The permission department is very slow to respond, apparently because they are overwhelmed with such requests. They take weeks, even months, to help. William F. Frye photo

Hi,

The photo in question (along with the negative) was in my father's files from the time he held public office in 1962. I believe the photo was used as a stock publicity photo for the Lane County District Attorney's Office and would have been in the public domain even back then. There is no credit for whomever took it but since my father had both the photo and the negative I assume it was done 'in house' and his to keep.

Please advise on what and where to add copyright info.

It does share the same scope. But all outlines share the scope of the article on the base subject. The difference is that Wikipedia outlines are topic lists, which present the subject in list format (with annotations to assist in topic selection). The main difference is that outlines aim to be comprehensive and link to everything Wikipedia has on the subject. See Wikipedia:Outlines for the guideline, and to see the set of all outlines at Portal:Contents/Outlines. Outlines are a type of stand-alone list, and make up one of Wikipedia's navigation systems. "Outline" is short for "hierarchical outline". Wikipedia outlines are topic outlines, similar to those used by college professors to present the syllabi of their courses. Except on Wikipedia they are about subjects rather than courses on those subjects. I'm still working on it. It'll start to resemble Wikipedia's best outlines more and more as it grows.

Yes, but Commons sometimes deletes files that are acceptable here. Particularly when I'm having trouble with the documentation, I worry about Commons.
