It looks as if your well-intentioned article was not accepted for Wikipedia mainspace. Please let me know if you would like to do additional work on it in order to bring it up to Wikipedia standards. Please note the edits that I have made. The principal issue that I see here is the lack of appropriate tie-ins to articles on knapping and lithic reduction as well as a general dearth of reliable sources. While the Encyclopedia Britannica is a reliable source, it is generally not a great practice to simply reword content from one encyclopedia for inclusion in another. There are many much better sources on the use of soft-hammer technique in the literature on flintknapping and lithic analysis. The main problem here is a lack of adequate research and citation of relevant sources. Note also that the issue of WP:N must be addressed for new articles. Does the soft-hammer technique merit its own article? If so, that must be evident in the article's content. An alternative approach is to add a section on soft-hammer technique to the article on lithic reduction. Please consider the good advice of User talk:JavaHurricane above for discussing this.
