Hello, Ekcs27

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Zippybonzo, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, NFTi Emporium, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Zippybonzo}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Hi Zippybonzo, we do not wish that our company's wikipedia page gets deleted.
If you are able to explain to us in details what is wrong and if you are able to improve it, you are very welcome to do so.
We do not find that anything wrong has been placed as an information in the wikipedia page, all sources are correct and the page explains
exactly what our company does and what it is about.
Many thanks Ekcs27 (talk) 15:57, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, just to clarify, do you work for NFTi Emporium? The reason I proposed to delete the page is because it reads like an advert and some of the sources aren’t reliable. Also, if you have a connection with the company you shouldn’t be creating or editing any page relating to the company (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest). Kind Regards, | Zippybonzo | Talk | 16:07, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, @Zippybonzo, my name is Evan Kareem I am the executive director of the company itself.
We specialize in releasing NFTi arts in various blockchains.
If you could tell us which sources are not reliable, I shall look into it.
Thank you Ekcs27 (talk) 16:15, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Numbers 5, 7 and 8, but you will have to disclose that you are being paid by NFTi Emporium as required by the Wikimedia Foundation Guidelines | Zippybonzo | Talk | 16:16, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I function as the CEO itself, so its my current business that I am running.
If you require us to prove this, you can go to our official website and scroll down and follow the link to our official twitter page.
Then you can tell us to temporary tweet something within a given time e.g. "test 123" so that this would prove that you are talking to
one of the people in the company through the official Twitter.
Thank you Ekcs27 (talk) 16:20, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, that wasn't my question, I don't doubt that you are the CEO, its just that the Wikimedia Foundation, who also run the servers for Wikipedia mandate that you have to disclose on your userpage that you are paid for your edits, see Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure for more info. | Zippybonzo | Talk | 16:24, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Number 5 is a recent publication done by an art magazine where our work has been published on page 39.
If you go to page 39 you shall be able to see the publication.
Number 7 Is a tweet done by the CEO of the company Wiseart who recognised our arts and listed
our artworks. The CEO named Carlos Moreira twitted one of our artworks which is to us a big highlight,
as this WiseKey platform has just few selected people as artists, these people are
world class artists, one of us being us. As you can see in this link https://platform.wise.art/author/nftiuniverseauctions_gmail-com
As for number 8 we can delete that, that is not an issue. Ekcs27 (talk) 16:26, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Still, that isn't my question, I asked a question above and I would quite like it acted on as you can be blocked for violating that policy, also, tweets aren't good enough sources, please read the above comment as it needs acting on. Thanks, | Zippybonzo | Talk | 16:29, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Zippybonzo I am not sure how this Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure works, whether we need to pay wikipedia to have our page published or whether they
need to pay us because we are contributing to the wikipedia.
As far as I know I am not getting paid by wikipedia to publish this or whatever I edit on our company wikipedia page.
Unless you mean I explicitly have to write in our page that I myself am or am not getting paid by wikipedia.
Thank you
Please let me know if I am missing out something ? Ekcs27 (talk) 16:32, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, you have to write that you are being paid by your company, not that Wikipedia pay you or you pay them, because that isn't how Wikipedia works | Zippybonzo | Talk | 16:38, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You can disclose that you are being payed by using this template {{paid|employer=NFTi Emporium|article=NFTi Emporium}} | Zippybonzo | Talk | 16:43, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Do I write this inside the official Nfti Emporium wikipage this is this one - NFTi Emporium ?
If so where exactly in the page you would like me to put this ? In the beginning at the top ? Or at the bottom near where the links and references are ? Ekcs27 (talk) 16:50, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ekcs27. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Ekcs27. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Ekcs27|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. | Zippybonzo | Talk | 16:50, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That is correct, as I am the CEO , I am not being paid by anybody, I pay myself.
Hence this would count that the user Ekcs27 is getting paid by himself and I can establish that here User:Ekcs27 Ekcs27 (talk) 16:57, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for disclosing that. | Zippybonzo | Talk | 17:04, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, is there anything else that we need to do, please let us know.
If not please remove the deletion message or close the enquiry for the deletion of that page.
Thank you Ekcs27 (talk) 17:06, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No problem @Zippybonzo, is there anything else that we need to do, please let us know.
If not please remove the deletion message or close the enquiry for the deletion of that page.
Or can we remove that message ourselves and there wont be any issue ?
Are there still issues with our page to get deleted or everything sorted out ?
Thank you Ekcs27 (talk) 17:24, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, I would rather leave it to the discretion of a deleting administrator, you can also ask at the Teahouse for some help (Wikipedia:TH) is the link. | Zippybonzo | Talk | 17:28, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Zippybonzo So there is no problems so far, everything has been sorted ? And can you confirm that it shall not get deleted ? Ekcs27 (talk) 17:30, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Zippybonzo Can you at least write in that page that the things that you saw an issue with for the deletion that
those have been amended in that page ? We do not want our page to be deleted by others not knowing what EXACTLY it was brought
up for deletion by you and that those are later amended. Ekcs27 (talk) 17:50, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't nominate the page for AfD and even if I did I can't remove the tag. | Zippybonzo | Talk | 08:52, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from NFTi Emporium. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Blockchain general sanctions alert

[edit]
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose discretionary sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

As non-fungible tokens are reliant on blockchain technology, they too fall under the sanctions regime. —Jéské Couriano v^_^v a little blue Bori 18:12, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFTi_Emporium
Hello, our company name is NFTi Emporium and we recently put our page in wikipedia.
However after a short period of time it was found out that is was proposed for a deletion,
we were very confused why it was, later we found out if was by the person @Zippybonzo
We contacted with this user what the issues were, then the user stated that the issues were
the following
- There was a source that does not count as a source, which is a twitter link.
- There was no user declaration made that who wrote this wikipedia page is getting
paid by the company NFTi Emporium. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Paid-contribution_disclosure
In response the twitter source has been deleted.
And the user who wrote that is Ekcs27 the disclosure has been made.
So everything has been sorted out accordingly.
We now ask can the deletion message on the page now been removed after appropriate actions have
been taken and things have been amended.
Thank you Ekcs27 (talk) 18:23, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
