License tagging for Image:Iranpeoples.gif.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Iranpeoples.gif.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:07, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:South-Azerbaijan.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Southaz.jpg. The copy called Image:Southaz.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Civility and other issues[edit]

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 24 h as a result of your disruptive edits to Iranian_Azeris. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our polices concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated. The summary like [1] is beyond the pale Alex Bakharev 19:16, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please also be advised that you are way beyond the 3 revert limit on the Iranian Azeris article.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors.

Finally, I agree with the other wikipedians who were reverting insertion of the image. As far as it is not referenced to WP:RS we cannot put it as a fact.

When you return from the block, try to be more cooperative Alex Bakharev 19:16, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:South-Azerbaijan.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:South-Azerbaijan.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Yamla 19:51, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Alex Bakharev has biased and anti azeri/turk ideas and he blocked me for adding truth to a page describing my ethnic, you can read texts in Iranian Azeris wiki page and you will find that i added an image describing the same information rxplained in the article itself. please read articles carefully. wikipedia should not allow discrimination between ethnics and support people like Ali Dosstzadeh, Alex Bakharev, etc. with anti turks ideas. you can read their user pages to find out easily that i am right. Alex insulted me that i attacked other users, but in fact they attack me and wants to not allow editing pages related to Azeris because they believed Prussians and Persians better. how you can ignore their supports of fascism? there is no difference between ethnics, you know we all are human.

Decline reason:

single-topic edit-warring account. A block of 48 hours is lenient, and if the user is interested in bona fide contributions, he may use the time off to familiarize himself with Wikipedia policy. dab (𒁳) 08:15, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please read all of these very, very carefully. If, after your block, you continue to edit war and make personal attacks, I will block you indefinitely. Moreschi Talk 22:36, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
