Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; however, please remember the essential rule of respecting copyrights. Thank you Diannaa. I appreciate you taking the time to help me become a better encyclopedic editor. I did look at some of those how to pages but not all, so i'll go look at them again. Elizabeth Gate (talk) 16:45, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Blaze Wolf. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Kelsang Gyatso, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:53, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize, i went to go fetch the reference and in that time you deleted it, which I thought was unfair but understand now. I am putting that refeerence in right now. Thankyou! Elizabeth Gate (talk) 18:58, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Kelsang Gyatso, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:56, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I do understand this and never add stuff without a reference, but i was just going off to fetch that reference when you saw the edit and removed it. Wikipedia moves too quickly for me sometimes! Thank you, though, for keeping an eye on things. Elizabeth Gate (talk) 19:01, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at New Kadampa Tradition, you may be blocked from editing. dudhhr talk contribs (he/they) 19:41, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain in what way this is poorly sourced? I didn't think it was. I am not trying to be disruptive at all.
In the first instance, I checked those references and found nothing to back up the wording that was being used, so i made it into more neutral language.
In the second instance, I added something from a website that seems to be a valid source and that also provides a balance to that section.
I am more than happy to discuss these things further. Elizabeth Gate (talk) 22:02, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
In the second instance, you cited the home page (not the page containing the information you intended to cite) of a website that appears to be an unreliable source. Wikipedia has specific criteria for what is and is not a reliable source, see WP:RS. dudhhr talk contribs (he/they) 00:34, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for getting back to me.
May I put back the first instance? Making it into more neutral language?
Meanwhile I will find the correct page on that website for the second instance. Elizabeth Gate (talk) 01:32, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
