February 2021

[edit]

Information icon Hi Emblossomed! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Marjorie Korringa that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Additionally, the reason I removed Women scientists was that is just a container category, not for individuals, and the subject is already in the Women geologists sub-category. -Kj cheetham (talk) 10:03, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kj! Sorry, it's my first time editing and everything is so confusing–I'm not even sure if i'm responding to you correctly lol. Thank you, I didn't know that. I just thought it meant a smallish change. Would you recommend that I try and fix that edit information? Or just leave it (and not do that again lol)? If you haven't already, I'll go remove that category right now. Thank you so much for your help! Emblossomed (talk) 03:03, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Emblossomed[reply]
Hi Emblossomed, not to worry! Took me a long time to get to grips with things. :) I thought the same thing with minor changes originally too! Best bet is leave it and be more careful in the future. Do give me a shout on my talk page if there's ever anything I can help with in the future though! -Kj cheetham (talk) 10:15, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Okay, sounds good. That makes me feel much better. Thanks again for all the help! I really appreciate it. Emblossomed (talk) 02:49, 13 February 2021 (UTC)Emblossomed[reply]
