Yes you are right. for the moment i do not have big plans but some times while reading I find that I might give some small contribution. For example these days i am very interested in the Republic of Kosovo recognition process and since i read a lot of news during the day i might contribute for articles dealing with it.
If this type of blocking is widespread and the unblocking proccess so slow then you should change the Wikipedia Moto:
The Free Encyclopedia if you are not behind the same proxy as some banned user. :)
