Please accept this WikiCookie for catching that additional Grammy nomination for Alison Krauss that I missed thanks to a spelling error in the source material. Thanks! Staxringold talkcontribs 22:30, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Editing Style

[edit]

Dear user, i've notice that recently you have done some good editing and patroling on I Look to You, I Look to You (song) and Million Dollar Bill. This is great but it would be better and more appreciated if in future you could provide a WP:edit summary in the future. This helps other editors in identifying vandalism from helpful edits.(Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:28, 23 September 2009 (UTC))[reply]

February 2011

[edit]

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the article Justin_Bieber has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Thank you. This is the diff in question. [e/c] I don't know quite who you were congratulating in this edit summary,[1] but it's probably better to avoid remarks like that. If it referred to the subject himself then it runs afoul of WP:BLP, which applies even to edit summaries. I used to write cleaver edit summaries, but they got me into more trouble than they were worth. Boring is better. ;) This is an encyclopedia, after all.   Will Beback  talk  21:38, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the edit summary. If WB had not already commented, I'd have said something stronger. DGG ( talk ) 23:32, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Teen Choice Awards

[edit]

Please provide a SPECIFIC, reliable source for the Teen Choice Awards (and all three of Adele's supposed nominations). I can find news sources for two nominations. Only verifiable information from reliable, third party sources can be added to Wikipedia. --Another Believer (Talk) 16:19, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the link. I updated the article with an E! Online reference instead. I appreciate your cooperation. --Another Believer (Talk) 16:48, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
