Thank you for uploading bird photographs. The ones I have seen are useful additions to commons. Please put the location of the photograph in the images description. The guidelines on file name are to use a descriptive name for images, and to use the file extension in the lower case. I have moved File:AG7O1071.JPG to File:Grus canadensis -head-10June2010.jpg. I would like to have put the location in the file name, but it was not in the file description. Generally, a photograph showing the full length of a bird is appropriate for the infobox position. Please preserve good images on articles. I note that you removed a featured image on the Mallard page and replaced it with your own photography (see your edit) - now reverted back to the original featured picture.
