Request reason:

I am just trying to update the Wikipedia page https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coordination_paysanne_europ%C3%A9enne that is currently out of date because the organisation changed it's name to ECVC over 10 years ago and the page was massively out of date and I want to translate it in EN and ES. I didn't realise the username policy banned organisations or shared accounts, thus am requesting to change my name. The intention wasn't to advertise ECVC but provide information as people often get it confused with the wider organisation LVC and it's a well-known organisation that works with the EU institutions and is therefore of interest to the general public. I have now read the guidelines better and will make sure to adapt the text accordingly

Your choice of new username would be acceptable. This block is for the English Wikipedia only; each language version of Wikipedia is a separate project with its own editors and policies. What is acceptable on the French Wikipedia is not necessarily acceptable here. Here, organizations cannot use Wikipedia to tell the world about themselves. Wikipedia is not for merely providing information. Wikipedia is only interested in what independent reliable sources with significant coverage say about an organization, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable organization; Wikipedia is not interested in what an organization wants to say about itself. Please review conflict of interest and paid editing, two policies you have violated. You won't be unblocked to further edit about your organization, if that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road.
