Hi Toddst1. Thank you for your greeting. I am looking forward to a good cooperation with you, which hopefully will be based on the facts. You have deleted the true birth year of Jing Yang after I had entered it based on the Swiss identity card of Jing Yang. I know the date which stands in it on the day exactly. I could also send you the ID, but that probably contradicts some data protection laws. Therefore I take the liberty to ask you, where did you get the information that Jing Yang should be born in 1964 and not in 1963 (as it is noted in the officially available Swiss documents) and where did you get the certainty that it is correct to enter your according to my knowledge wrong information in Wikipedia? Or in other words, what do I have to do so that you accept the actual year of birth 1963? Are you really a master (IV) in editing? Farbarch (talk) 20:34, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Here You find one public entry with confirmation of birthyear:
https://www.tagblatt.ch/kultur/musik/ein-wunderkind-wird-zu-einer-virtuosin-wie-einst-jimi-hendrix-ld.1796398
Could this be helpfull? Farbarch (talk) 20:54, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A couple of things:
  1. Reliable sources must go in the article, not the talk pages or edit summaries. See WP:CITE on how to do this?
  2. Her Swiss id is a WP:BLPPRIMARY source which is unacceptable.
  3. How is it that you have a copy of her Swiss identity card? Do you have a personal connection to the subject of the article?
  4. Please revert your last edit on Yang Jing (composer) - you are violating our policy on WP:BLP and edit warring.

Thank you for your interest in Jing Yang and her birth year.
For now, I have undone my last change until I understand what exactly the rules are supposed to be and Of course, what interests me most is your knowledge of Jing Yang.
Because you still haven't answered my question about what rule you used to set the birth year to 1964. I can't find a source for it, except your edition.
Why are you interested in my personal relations?

Have you even bothered to look at the cited source? I wasn't the one who added it either. Toddst1 (talk) 00:46, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
