User talk:Finko
Thank you for your note. You did it fine, except you should have added it to the discussion ("talk") page instead of the user page. Some wiki-nanny then moved it for me. Anyway, I used to live in Bloomington-Normal and am fond of the area, so I will be interested in anything you might add to it. I have contributed a few things, here and there. I both like and dislike different aspects of wikipedia, but there is no question is a bold and interesting concept. The part of the Trail that I am specifically referring to is a stretch of it I remember from years ago when I would peddle on it occasionally, namely the north-south corridor in Normal that runs under the old Virginia Avenue "humpback" bridge, if I'm remembering the street correctly. In the summer, that area is walled with vegetation, and unlike other parts of the trail, it's totally in shade (except maybe at high noon), providing the illusion of walking or pedaling through a small canyon. The part you are referencing may well have been added since I was last on the Trail, or maybe I did not venture to that area for some reason. :) Wahkeenah 10:43, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for the camelback bridge photo. Wish I was there! Wahkeenah 20:35, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
I really don't know. I've been to the area a few times, always on my way someëlsewhither, but never saw the vandalized tower. Tomertalk 01:38, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
File source problem with File:CourthouseB.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:CourthouseB.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:29, 28 April 2009 (UTC).
