Don’t edit-war[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Hindu–Arabic numeral system‎‎; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 08:15, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring #‎User:Firooz Peyravi reported by User:Incnis Mrsi (Result: ) regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Substantial edits[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Arabic numerals‎‎, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 17:50, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

May 2019[edit]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, as you did at Al-Biruni, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Telling others to "shut up" when they have (rightfully) reverted an edit of yours is a big no-no.[1] - LouisAragon (talk) 19:42, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article. ---Wikaviani (talk) (contribs) 20:55, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring, as you did at Al-Biruni. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- Scott Burley (talk) 07:36, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
