[edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Fthrjack/sandbox. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Please explain to me what I am promoting? I have written a Bio. By that logic is not the Bio page of any politician or celebrity "Promotion and soap boxing" - especially so with Politicians?
Also, the user sandbox is just that... a sandbox, and when using it for the first time you are told that, and to use it for testing and creating articles in etc etc. It at no point says Your articles must fit with the opinions of Moderator1234 or any such thing. It explains it is a sandbox, and I used it as such. Could you please explain and point out exactly what Ive done wrong and what you are classing as promotion or soap boxing when all ive done is write a bio about a well known personality in the internet bodybuilding scene? (by the same yard stick - so are characters like Zzyzz and Phil Heath who both have a page on wikipedia) I came here and searched his name, found nothing, so therefore thought id spend time and create an article, im left wondering why on earth I spent the time.
This talk feature is horrible to use by the way, I dont think it has been an improvement since the last time I tried to use wikipedia, probably 8+ years ago. If i am using it wrong, my apologies - but its not very user friendly AT ALL, so its hard to figure out, in this day of messageboards, chat boxes, ticket systems, SMS messages, and email - wikipedia chose to use something that fits none of these models of posting & getting a response etc. Fthrjack (talk) 06:12, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
