Derry
[edit]Hi, @FundTheNINE, Welcome but please keep in mind WP:DERRY, Wikipedia's current compromise on the dispute. Derry is to be used for references to the city, whereas County Londonderry for the county, unless it is a specific title on its own, e.g. Derry Central Railway and Londonderry railway station. Noticed you've changed Belfast–Derry line to Belfast–Derry~Londonderry line once while a good faith attempt at compromise, the latter is not an article, and the target is named Belfast–Derry line (Although such article could be requested to be renamed through a discussion at its talk).
Noticed your contributions to Lisburn–Antrim line. Thanks for adding such needed additions to the article, but it seemed slightly WP:OR and WP:CRYSTAL, please only state what is in the source, and not your own interpretations on what the railway community thinks without a source on that. Many thanks. DankJae 01:55, 22 January 2023 (UTC)

[edit]If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
- Provide a new username.
To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.
Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Lourdes 07:51, 25 October 2023 (UTC)- {{unblock|reason=Dear Sir/Madam
- Dear Sir/Madam
- This block is a massive error. The information I had added to the Lisburn to Antrim Line page was factual and correct.
- FundTheNINE is a nonprofit railway expansion campaign that does not generate money in any shape or form from our work, we were simply posting relevant information we had gathered in regards to the reopening of the aforementioned railway line.
- I apologise sincerely for the confusion, but I can wholeheartedly assure you that I would not use Wikipedia, a site I donate to regularly, for advertising anything of my own.
- I hope you decide to revert this block as it was at most a misinterpretation.
- Kind regards,
- Andrew}} FundTheNINE (talk) 14:09, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
