NJ school districts

[edit]

Thanks for your efforts cleaning up New Jersey school district articles. I saw your stab at Comparison of school districts in New Jersey, and I had been thinking of something similar for quite a while. It would probably be far easier to see if the data from the New Jersey School Report Card or from the National Center for Education Statistics can be downloaded and reformatted into a wikitable that would have all of the relevant fields and allow for sorting. Your idea to make some of the stats into templates is an interesting idea, but I'm not sure how to best implement it. If you have anything you might want to discuss on Wikipedia editing, feel free to reach me on my talk page. Alansohn (talk) 17:15, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Comparison of school districts in New Jersey has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This list is 2 years old and outdated. The author stopped working on it two days after he had created it. Thince then only bot and maintenence edits.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
