Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:MOABmuseum.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 01:45, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Various MOAB edits

[edit]

Hi, thanks for the work you've been doing on the MOAB article; it looks pretty good, especially the new pictures. I just wanted to let you know that I switched the picture in the infobox back to the MOAB sitting in a hangar because I feel the wide-angle shot of the MOAB you uploaded, while photographically interesting, is not the best picture we could use to illustrate the MOAB's basic appearance.

I also made a few other changes to the article to improve the way it displays and to fix a couple of formatting errors. If you are confused about why I made the changes I did, let me know and I'll offer more explanation.--Father Goose (talk) 04:49, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

3RR warning

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on An Inconvenient Truth. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution.

Please see the long discussions on talk. If you want to overturn a consensus - then please do so by engaging in talk. --Kim D. Petersen (talk) 21:40, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And please note that the very first insertion of "controversial" is a revert to another version today. [1] --Kim D. Petersen (talk) 21:42, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:AC-130H Spectre.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:AC-130H Spectre.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:03, 6 August 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. XLerate (talk) 08:03, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
