Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Just Dance. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write practically anything you want. --Legolas (talk2me) 11:17, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contribution to Lady Gaga, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely-used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox to get started. Thank you. --Legolas (talk2me) 11:17, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Nymf talk/contr. 14:22, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Per MOS:BIO, the lead of an article should not include ethnicities. Please stop adding "Portuguese" to the lead.—Kww(talk) 00:34, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fernando Alonso

[edit]

Hi thanks for deleting some of the quotes without refs from Alonso's page. Unfortunately, you removed 'citation needed' tags from some direct quotes. Quotes always require a reference, especially in a biography of a living person. I have replaced those that are still required. If you're interested in F1, you might want to take a look at WP:F1. 4u1e (talk) 20:07, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
