Welcome
[edit]Hello, Geesely and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.
Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 21:07, 20 September 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Ferien. I noticed that in this edit to El-Kurru, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Ferien (talk) 18:53, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi there Ferien, I removed and changed the information because much of it was incorrect. I should have specified that more clearly in my edit summary. If possible could you restore the article to what I had it as? Thanks! Geesely (talk) 18:59, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Ferien: I am not sure if I correctly tagged you in my previous reply. I am working on this article for a graduate school course in which I am studying El-Kurru. I removed some content because it was incorrect, I am reading the source material so I am certain that I am basing my writing on the correct information. In the future I will be certain to make it more explicit that I removed information because it was false. Would it be possible for you to restore my edits? Thank you. - Sorry Geesely, I was wrong to rollback and have reverted my edit. It was a couple of hours ago but I believe I accidentally reverted your edit while trying to revert another on a different page. Apologies for this, and thank you for contributing here :) --Ferien (talk) 22:33, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you Ferien! I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly and making sure Wikipedia has the best possible information :) Geesely (talk) 22:49, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
