Undo on World Christianity

Hi there GenoV84, I see you undid my change to World Christianity. I was going to revert it back, but don't want to be edit warring with you. To clarify, as I noted in my comment, my change was based on the MOS:FURTHER. As the MOS indicates, "Further reading" should be a "reasonable number of publications"; but your list was actually of the same volume with five different chapters called out as separate items. If you wish to highlight all those chapters, it would best be done in an annotation of that one volume as the MOS offers. Furthermore, you created a section called "Bibliography" which goes against the advice of MOS:NOTES, when it seems to be redundant with "Further reading." Your comment was that I had removed items when, aside from collapsing down the multiple chapters, I removed one item—an editorial about COVID-19 and world Christianity, which is neither a reference used within the text or useful in terms of a "Further reading" for the topic of world Christianity in general.

I see that you are making such "Bibliography" and "Further reading" sections in other articles as well. I would suggest that instead of building a bibliography of items that can be searched for, to expand the articles with the contents of these references. In practice, many of these articles, including World Christianity, now have longer bibliographic lists than actual content in the article. — Caorongjin (talk) 20:25, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
