[edit]Hello, I'm Faster than Thunder. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Mr. Burns have been disallowed by an edit filter as they did not appear constructive. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. If you believe the edit filter disallowance was a false positive, please report it here. Feel free to ask for assistance at the Teahouse whenever you like. Thank you. Please refrain from attempting to make unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been disallowed by an edit filter. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeatedly attempting to perform disruptive actions may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. - All I did was add that Mr. Burns is niggardly. It wasn’t unconstructive. Glippideet (talk) 01:24, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- Surely you realize that that word sounds like a slur and that changing it in multiple articles is not an improvement?
- Also it's odd to see someone with no edits know very quickly exactly how to game permissions to be able to bypass the filter.
- Have you edited under other accounts before? – 2804:F14:80C6:A301:9438:F1F9:E653:5F6C (talk) 00:28, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to SpongeBob SquarePants, you may be blocked from editing. Q T C 02:32, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Shaws username . talk . 03:02, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Grunkle Stan. Faster than Thunder (talk | contributions) 17:10, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- It wasn’t disruptive. I can’t help it if your vocabulary is parsimonious. Glippideet (talk) 01:21, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
