Need an opinion
[edit]Hey, BP. I'd like your two cents on something: what do you think about the Kung Lao article? Do you think it still holds up? I'm doing the requisite Scholar search but haven't found a lot so far and I'm still working on finding viable sources, but I'm inching closer to redirecting. On 11 August 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Barry Burton, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Barry Burton's lines such as "You were almost a Jill Sandwich!" from the first Resident Evil game were popular enough to be referenced in following games? 2 is the limit
[edit]Can you provide the link to the discussion where the FAC reviewers stated that 2 is the limit for non-free image usage? There is no such thing in Wikipedia:Featured article criteria and articles like Lightning (Final Fantasy) exist. ภץאคгöร 15:18, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- I've seen it before to other article's FAC, but I forgot. FAC is more strict nowadays, but adding either would be trivial to most reviewers since it doesn't have that much info from the discussion about her RE2 remake design. Hope you understand. 🍕Boneless Pizza!🍕 (🔔) 15:35, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- Well, if there is such a consensus/strictness as you claim, it will surely be mentioned in pages like Wikipedia:Featured article criteria. This is not something that depends on some reviewers, but rather the reviewers check whether it meets the criteria (they do not create criteria on their own). If the problem is the lack of info for RE2 remake appearance, I don't think it will be hard to gather info about it. ภץאคгöร 15:51, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- It is hard to gather info for her RE2 remake design (for me personally) since you had to use a reliable source for that. The only info we have seen so far were about the trench coat stuffs. - @Nyxaros I rechecked right now, and unfortunately I couldn't find anything other than her "red dress" being altered into a "trenchcoat." (Valnet sources should be avoided) To be fair, her redesign appearance almost looks the same as the original RE2. I only saw a Polygon source that mentions only Leon and Claire acting like human beings or contemporary video game heroes, but not Ada. 🍕Boneless Pizza!🍕 (🔔) 22:33, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
